Winner of the 1st National Tapa Food Award of Spain

The Spanish Food contest was held on October 22, awarding the best tapas made in Hotel restaurants within the framework of the Hotel Tapa Tour 2020 gastronomic festival, which each year has a jury made up of "prestigious gastronomy professionals".

‘Cocidito a bocados’, by José Antonio Guerrero, our chef at "Lago Resort Menorca" has been the winner of the 1st National Tapa Food Award of Spain, which was held in Madrid.

The Menorcan chef's tapa was made with bread from Valladolid, national beef, Iberian pork and EVOO (extra virgin olive oil). The pairing was made with a DO Cava Lounge Brut Rosé.
