Fine dining, global flavours and premium breakfast experiences: discover the Mediterranean's most complete gastronomic resort

A culinary map like no other

Lago Resort Menorca is today one of the most renowned gastronomic resorts in the Mediterranean. Its Gastrohub brings together 18 restaurants and culinary concepts across its hotels and the Lago promenade, in Cala'n Bosch. If you're looking for where to eat in Menorca without ever leaving your hotel, this is one of the most complete offerings on the island, turning gastronomy into the heart of every guest's stay.

Reaching this number is the direct result of years devoted to a single goal: making culinary quality one more reason to choose Menorca.

What makes the Gastrohub so special?

The chance to start the day with breakfast overlooking the marina, enjoy a Peruvian ceviche, watch the sunset over cocktails, and end the day with signature fine dining — all without leaving Cala'n Bosch. This is how Lago Resort Menorca understands gastronomy: not as an added service, but as a complete experience that should be lived at least once.

Add to this the Foodie Passport: every night of your stay, guests receive a Lago Coin to redeem freely at the resort's restaurants, with menus valued between 0.5 and 3 Lago Coins. Use them daily or save them up for something special — dinner with a Michelin-starred chef, a front-row sunset, or a night of unlimited churrasco. You decide where to enjoy them.

Micat: signature Menorcan fine dining

Micat is the Gastrohub's newest and most ambitious addition. Located within the 5-star Hotel Casas del Lago, it's an intimate, deeply rooted Menorcan restaurant where every dish is born from the island's producers, sea and land, led by chef Luis Valls, who brings experience from two-Michelin-starred kitchens.

Japanese and Peruvian dining at Suites del Lago

Godai is the world's first and only Japanese-Menorcan restaurant. Under the direction of Michelin-starred chef Julián Mármol, Menorca's km0 produce is reinterpreted through Japanese technique in a tasting menu designed as a sensory journey, in a space reserved for guests over 16.

Just steps away, Kaypa brings the flavours of Peru to the heart of the resort. Led by Omar Malpartida, a chef awarded a Sol Repsol, it offers Peruvian cuisine, cocktails and poolside service, with a terrace and Balinese beds completing the experience.

The sea as the setting

Artrutx Sea Club is designed for enjoying one of the island's most spectacular sunsets, with great music and cocktails, in a beach-club atmosphere.

Sensa takes the same idea to another shore: a Beach House on Cala'n Bosch beach with Mediterranean soul, vibrant international cuisine and an atmosphere made for lingering after the beach, well into the night. Medbar rounds out the offering as the perfect meeting point for a drink before or after dinner, with the best sports on screen.

The best seafood restaurants in Cala'n Bosch

Aquarium Port Ciutadella sits in a natural cave by the port of Ciutadella, with a spacious terrace, a menu rooted in Menorcan cuisine, its own lobster tank, and classic dishes such as caldereta made to a family recipe dating back to 1962, alongside hearty rices and paellas. A sure bet.

Aquarium Cala'n Bosch, its natural extension, offers the same Menorcan-rooted seafood cuisine with views over the Lago.

A journey around the world

Thai Garden by Arena Beach brings Menorca the celebrated Thai restaurant from Madrid, taking guests on a journey from street food to Thailand's most exclusive, spice-driven dishes, located within the Hotel Casas del Lago. Arena Beach, the hotel's own pool and cocktail area, is the perfect setting to pair it with the resort's most iconic cocktails.

Restaurante Venezia and La Fontana Family Restaurant bring the Gastrohub the flavours of Italy and international cuisine, with concepts designed for romantic dinners as well as family enjoyment. Rodizio Brazilian Steakhouse offers classic all-you-can-eat Brazilian churrasco, and Fiesta Tex-Mex adds a festive atmosphere with live music and Tex-Mex fare for the whole family. Sa Parrilla des Lago, meanwhile, pays tribute to the most traditional Menorcan grill, with premium cuts of meat and an unforgettable ribeye paella.

Alea and FOC: two premium breakfast experiences

FOC Eco-Brasserie, the flagship restaurant of the Hotel Suites del Lago, holds a clear commitment to sustainability: fruit and vegetables from its own garden, organically grown lettuces, eggs from its Chicken Villa, and fish from its own boat at the port of Ciutadella. It offers à la carte breakfasts and dinners with an open kitchen so diners can watch every dish being prepared.

At Casas del Lago, Alea is the breakfast space: the hotel's own breakfast experience, with a buffet and à la carte menu built on the same commitment to locally sourced produce. Together, Alea and FOC Eco-Brasserie give the Gastrohub two premium breakfast experiences, one at each of its 5-star hotels. Sa Parrilla des Lago, for its part, pays tribute to the most traditional Menorcan grill.

Menorcan tapas start here

Terra Wine Bar offers a journey through the flavours of Spain without leaving Suites del Lago: tapas from every region and a carefully curated wine selection, in an intimate setting within the 5-star Hotel Suites del Lago. Whether it's a quiet evening, time for a good book, or a wine tasting with friends, Terra Wine Bar is the perfect spot.

A resort turned gastronomic destination

The Gastrohub at Lago Resort Menorca proves that gastronomy can be far more than an add-on to your stay: it's the heart of the experience. From the Peruvian ceviche at Kaypa to the Menorcan grill at Sa Parrilla, by way of the understated luxury of Micat or a family night out at the Tex-Mex table, every meal becomes a stop on a journey around the world, all without leaving Cala'n Bosch.
